The illegal gangs of Medellín and Valle de Aburrá reported their participation in the total peace talks, promoted by the government of President Gustavo Petro. The announcement was made after the end of a meeting between the peace commissioner and other personalities, with 16 heads of criminal gangs who are being held in the Itagüí maximum security prison.
