According to the latest report from the authorities, there are already more than 8 thousand people who unfortunately lost their lives. In addition, to date more than 35,000 injuries have been reported. The WHO warned that the death toll from the strong earthquake in these two countries could increase eight times, that is, it could exceed 20,000.

Apart from the devastating 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes, 312 other tremors have been recorded, some of them over 6, Turkey’s Vice President Fuat Oktay reported.

Currently, more than 8,000 people have been able to be rescued alive from the remains of the thousands of buildings that collapsed yesterday Monday due to two strong earthquakes in the southeast of Turkey, and that have left more than 8,000 dead and more than 35,000 injured in that country, according to what the Government reported today.
