The Atlético Huila coach, Néstor Craviotto, pointed out that despite the fact that the team has two consecutive defeats, in football terms it has not left a bad image. On the other hand, the Argentine strategist referred to the aspects that have to be improved and spoke about the possibility of another player arriving.

After two consecutive defeats, Atlético Huila is preparing for what will be tomorrow’s game against Deportivo Pereira. Argentine coach Néstor Craviotto spoke to the media and took stock of what he has seen in these two games against Unión Magdalena and Bucaramanga.
“It could become something logical, to find yourself in a category that this team was not used to, with reinforcements that have come and that you have to start incorporating them. What the two games were, we competed, it’s not that they passed us over, if there were individual errors that meant that the results were not as expected, but I think we competed, we are in the task of working to improve the definition, that we arrived quite a lot both games but we did not convert much and be stronger defensively”, emphasized the strategist of the Huilense group.
In the same way, another of the points that Atlético Huila will have to correct is the defensive aspect, but especially the dead ball, since in the two games they have played they have conceded goals that way.
“Working on the definition is something relative. Here in training you can kick 400 times and score the goals, but the games come and everything changes, it’s like penalties, they are taken and when the time comes they miss them. It is ideal, we have to improve our definition, we are in that process, but there are more things that we must work on, such as the ball set against us”, pointed out the DT.
With respect to whether more reinforcements would arrive and as LA NACIÓN has anticipated on several occasions, the leadership of Atlético Huila is looking for a 9, but at the moment there is no name on the table.
In turn, the Atlético Huila coach pointed out that especially in the last game against Bucaramanga, they needed to play more intelligently in the last minutes, since an error on one side ended up costing them the game.
“We have to be smarter in matches. There was a moment in the game with Bucaramanga in which we took a risk towards the end and they charged us, I always tell them that there are 5 minutes left, 2 minutes, if it was not possible to win in the 90s it is much better to add one by one than not to add nothing, so you have to be more intelligent in that kind of thing”, Craviotto pointed out.
“Our idea is to go out on a pitch to win games, be it home or away, this team is up for great things but we shouldn’t despair. The fan has to help us with our breath because it’s not an easy task.” complemented the Argentine DT.
Finally, regarding the Andrés Felipe Amaya issue, the coach pointed out that he has already been registered with Dimayor, but he will not be able to act in the commitment against Pereira. In the event that a formal offer for the player does not arrive, he will stay at Atlético Huila and if nothing extraordinary happens, he could play from the fifth date.
