The 34-year-old girl had been teaching for three months at the Villa Corelca Educational Institution in the capital of Cesar. She suffered severe injuries in different parts of her body when she was cycling, a sport that she did in her spare time.
According to the preliminary report by the authorities, Lady Beltrán Bermeo had been residing in this city for a few months, was hit by a private vehicle, with license plates OBF-199, whose driver left her abandoned on the road and fled.
