Atlético Huila continues without winning. At the Guillermo Plazas Alcid stadium, the opita team lost 2-1 against Atlético Bucaramanga, a match corresponding to date 2 of the Colombian league. The goal for the Huilense squad was scored by José Gabriel Ramírez.

First time

In the first half, although Huila was the one that had the first two clear chances of scoring, it was Bucaramanga that ‘hit’ first on the scoreboard. At minute 22, after a corner kick by Javier Reina, Argentine Gonzalo Lencina anticipated the Atlético Huila defenders and made it 1-0 on the scoreboard.

However, at the end of the first half, Huila found the tie. After a very good collective play, the ball was left to José Gabriel Ramírez, who with a mid-distance shot and after a detour along the way, put the score at 1-1.

Second time

The second part did not start with the same intensity as the first half. From minute 60 onwards, Huila was the team that sought victory. In fact, at 61 he had his first great chance. After an overflow from Faber Gil’s right, he put in the center and the Argentine striker Gustavo Britos almost missed it.

Later, 67 minutes into the game, the local team had another clear chance to score. After a great individual play by Faber Gil, one of Atlético Huila’s best players in yesterday’s game, he looked for the Argentine Gustavo Britos, but the latter’s shot went into the hands of the Bucaramanga goalkeeper.

When everything seemed that the game ended tied, Bucaramanga without much football took the prize. After an extraordinary pass from Javier Reina, once again the Argentine Gonzalo Lencina defined in a great way and put the final 2-1 for the ‘leopard’ team.

Next date

On the next day, Atlético Huila will visit the current Colombian soccer champion: Deportivo Pereira. This match is scheduled for Friday, February 3 at 7:40 p.m.
